A dedicated server is any machine, dedicated or virtual, that run your Minecraft server(s). Any machine that doesn't have the same IP address or hardware ID is seen as a dedicated server.

If you reach the player limit, Arctic AntiCheat will make a broadcast every 15 minutes or so asking you to upgrade. If you surpass the limit by 30 players or more, new players will be kicked with the reason "Player limit reached. Tell the server owner to upgrade to Arctic Premium at arcticac.cc.".

Regarding player limits, Arctic will always fail safe and will ensure if Arctic can't check players, those players can't cheat.

Arctic detects a lot of different cheats. Most things related to movement we detect, especially variations of fly. Arctic can also detect combat and packet related cheats such as KillAura and Timer.

Yes. Arctic requires ProtocolLib to view, inspect and modify packets. Arctic will fail to start if ProtocolLib isn't installed.
